Oakley Ambassador Women's Testing Hits Laguna
This past weekend Oakley hosted the 1st annual Oakley Perform Beautifully Ambassador Testing Trip in sunny Laguna Beach. The four-day event brought together women of Oakley; staff, professional athletes Kristi Leskinen and Amber Wing, the Perform Beautifully Ambassadors, the newly appointed Sports Marketing Ambassadors, as well as ESPNW. The hope? To discuss the continued growth of the Oakley women’s product line and put the Spring 2013 Women’s Training Line to the Test.

Onslaught of medals for Oakley at the TTR World Snowboarding Championships in Oslo, Norway
Oakley riders scored no less than four medals at the TTR World Snowboarding Championships in Oslo! Sebastien Toutant (CAN) got a silver medal in slopestyle, and Matt Ladley (USA) won second place in the halfpipe. The ladies scored second (Queralt Castellet, ESP) and third place (Gretchen Bleiler, USA) in the halfpipe finals.

OneSight: Atlanta
Oakley Customer Service Manager, Heather Bissell traveled to Atlanta, GA, January 8-14 to kick-off the 2012 OneSight Clinics. Heather met up with a team of 40 trained volunteers and doctors from across North America who all came together to provide much needed vision care and eyewear to Atlanta-area students.

Mission Impossible: Specially Designed Oakley Eyewear Rocks the Silver Screen in “Ghost Protocol” Blockbuster
At Oakley, any mission is possible. Just ask Tom Cruise. With past, ultra specialized design work for Mission Impossible blockbuster films under its belt, The Big O dropped into the famous series’ latest blockbuster film, “Ghost Protocol.” As the film’s crew began gearing up for production on the 2012 release, the need for a super customized goggle/glass for Cruise to rock in particular scenes, began to surface. Not surprisingly, Oakley was the obvious first call.
