Oakley’s Ryan Dungey Wins Inaugural Monster Energy Supercross Race at Cowboys Stadium
Before 49,082 fans at the inaugural Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, at Cowboys Stadium, Oakley’s Ryan Dungey, won his fourth AMA supercross class main event. Nick Wey opened the AMA Supercross class main event by winning the Spike Holeshot. Oakley’s Dungey quickly passed Wey for the lead by the end of lap one.

Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, made its first and only visit outside the United States with much success as 42,083 devoted Canadian fans packed into Toronto’s Rogers Centre for the 10th stop of the 2010 season. It was another strong night for Oakley’s Ryan Villopoto, as he raced to his fifth win of the year.

Entering the evening in a dead heat atop the standings with Oakley’s Ryan Villopoto and Oakley’s Ryan Dungey who captured his third victory of 2010 to move into sole position of the top spot.
