    Cabin fever had set in to the highest degree after a four day storm took over the North and South islands. But sun finally broke out and the Oakley snow team ran for the hills! And ended up at Snow Park ski and snowboard freestyle resort between Wanaka and Queenstown in New Zealand.

Just ask Oakley’s young ski star Joss Christensen, who claimed a resounding Big Air victory at the New Zealand Winter Games. Throwing down a massive array of tricks – he plowed through to the final to face off against fellow 15-year-old Swiss Oakley rider Kai Mahler – eventually topping him for the Gold.

Collaborating over the summer with Nimbus Independent, Sammy is dropping a new, free online flick, “On Top of the Hood.” To be premiered in September at the International Freeski Film Festival in Montreal, this bad boy will be hitting your computer monitor shortly after.
